I worked in communications for Arif from 2017 to 2019. Our goal with his accounts was not to gain a wide following but instead to have a very specific reach of people residing in his riding. In order to accomplish this we ensured that around the area, it was very easy to see where you could find his social media accounts. Additionally, we ran targeted ad campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and on a few occasions Snap Chat.
